Need advice: Is it possible to shorten the notice period?

Hey everyone,I recently received a new job offer and the joining date is in about 10 days, but I haven’t yet submitted my resignation at my current company (been here for 6+ years). My notice period is longer than that (45 days) , so I’m trying to understand — how practical is it to request a shortened notice period?Has anyone here successfully negotiated it down or found any workable approaches (like leave adjustment or partial buyout)? Would really appreciate some advice on how to bring this up with HR or my manager. I. Other way if it better to ask for delay the joiningin the new company and ask them to have more time by some reasons. ( Vut I mentioned I will be getting relived earlier at correct time ) What is better in this scenario

I don't have experience with it but I have seen people in my office adjust their leaves with a notice period. Some people request for an early release and it might get approved depending on your deliverables and manager and HR
