Need advice: I travel 15 hours weekly for work and carry too much luggage.

I travel 15 hours by train every week for office. I feel like I am carrying too many bags and it is tiring. I want to learn how to travel lighter.

Here is what I currently carry (4 separate bags): Mini Suitcase: Clothes for 4-5 days, formal shoes, big towel, and a thin blanket (for winter). Backpack: Toiletries, hand towel, water bottle, and extra clothes that don't fit in the suitcase. Laptop Bag: Just for the laptop. Small Bag: Bathroom slippers. Food: A tiffin box for dinner and breakfast (my Mom insists I carry this).

I am juggling 4 different bags. It is very hard to move around the station and board the train with all this.

How can I reduce this to just 1 or 2 bags? What specific bags do you recommend for this amount of stuff?

How do you pack winter items like a blanket without using too much space? Thanks for your help.

Is it possible to get an extra set of blankets , slippers , some basic home clothes and keep them there instead of having to juggle it everytime?

I don't have a house at my base location yet. Accenture doesn't pay much. I couldn't manage to afford a rented house because of brokerage and security deposit money is also required. Hence, I have to travel from my village to the city just to secure my job

Buy a bigger suitcase. Seriously. Big enough to fit everything you've listed above.

Except the lunch bag. You can also stow the lunch bag into it once you're done eating, though.

I appreciate your suggestion. A larger suitcase does seem practical, but it could be somewhat heavy to manage. I’m thinking about getting a rucksack that can hold all my stuff. I’ll just use my laptop bag for my laptop.

Put your laptop and food in your backpack

I usually don't have enough space to accommodate it. If I carry the suitcase I put the laptop inside of its front pocket.
