Need Advice!! I am stuck in Politics... 😔
I am lateral hire C2 and that's why my salary is little higher than some of my teammates. Mine is 11 L and their below 10. These teammates have told this to the manager and hence my manager tries to pull me down all the time in my work. She never supports and never listens to my concerns. Recently, the customer escalated a matter and it was the overall team's fault. However, the manager started the blame-game again and proved me only the culprit. That's not fair. A high salary is not my fault. Also, I am working more than my teammates as I know i am being paid more than them. Still, the manager is not convinced. I don't want to switch the company right now. Will do it after 2-3 years due to some personal commitments. Pls suggest other resolution for now so that I will have peace of mind.
First pls do not disclose package details to fellow teammates. If you need peace then try to switch project
Yes, I think I will try that now. I have not disclosed my salary. They saw me working hard so far and realized I might be getting paid more. They pass comments in front of me - itne kam paise me kaun jyada kaam karega. Itne saal kaam karke we're not even crossing 10 Lakh. That's how I got to know about their salaries.
You can switch the project but this is very difficult. Managers and business accounts don't release people easily. You need to fight for it. Don't disclose your salary. Talk to your manager one on one, if it's not possible then just tell her I want project release. Stop doing extra work. Don't pick any calls after office hours.
Those who donot work bully those who work.. its as simple. So let them be but if manager is not supporting then she is at loss, just stop working and leave the project. Donot disclose in future about you personal or professional things
its your fault only, why did you disclose your salary? and about manager, just raise grievance against them with proof, they will know what they are doing.
dont be afraid of raising grievance against those who are exploiting you. make sure you should have necessary proof.
