Trending @Infosys; Need advice from seniors

I have cleared DSS and my training starts from tomorrow. Will I be released from the current project for the training purpose. How the plan will be? My manager told. You can stay in project and do training over weekends. Also I am due for on site opportunity, got the visa approved should get back my passport from embassy and have to travel to Canada. Is it better to go there and become DSS or become DSS and go there? Need advice from seniors. Please.
