Need advice for Transition to Devops
I am in stuck in support role for 4 years, have some knowledge on mobile app development (android), tried few companies but couldn't crack. Now looking at Market conditions AI hype thinking to transition to Devops,, can anyone suggest is it a wise decision? Because i have heard a lot of negative stuff about devops WLB , WORK PRESSURE ETC.
And how much time it can take to be job ready in Devops if i give 2-3 hours daily..
Please suggest I m very very confused 😕
Yes my guy, DevOps doesn’t have WLB. Whether it is due to broken code in prod or pipeline issue, you have to get in call whenever it happens for rollback and applying fixes. Move there only if you have a knack for identifying and fixing issues. There is a reason why AI cannot do DevOps job for now.
Also, it totally depends on how fast you can grab concepts. I would suggest to have fair amount of hands-on to get offers on DevOps.
