Need Advice!!!!
I am currently working as a backend developer. Total yoe: 6 , 4 years as Automation tester and 2 years as backend developer. I want to get into product based company. Should i learn DSA and system design now and switch by telling 6 yoe in software development only??
I am a oracle dba of 2.6 yoe, pleaee guide me i also want to switch to development but i dont have prior knowledge bt i knw i can do that , what should i do and how much time it will take me to switch.. or give me better advice to switch into which domain as i am working as ORACLE DBA.
If you are interested in development then the protocol is same, do DSA, learn system design fake development experience and jump out or look for role switch in the same company which is what i did!. In terms of carrier to choose, i don’t know what is actually good going forward in this AI era, but one thing is certain people who are very good in what they are doing will be safe!!

It’s all depends on your interest brother, it takes time but you can prepare. There are good free content online like Strivers, you can check it out, by the way i am preparing for dsa on and off for past 3 years.
