Trending @Infosys; Need advice.

Infosys has terminated me last month (May) and gave me salary for May but didn't give any severance pay and I have their asset (laptop & ID) with me so what should I do? Should I use ut as leverage or just give them?

There is no severance pay for termination unless explicitly communicated. If you were asked to resign, you’re eligible for the 3 months’ pay which will come as a part of FnF settlement within the next 30-ish days.

Nope you are wrong, I am eligible as I have consulted a lawyer already and lawyer told me it's a Government rule that if a company without any valid reason or evidence then they have to pay severance.

You not attending office is a valid reason for termination , boss. You might not agree with it, but it is.

Then what should I use as leverage?

People who are terminated don't get 3 months severance pay

Did they actually terminated or asked you to give resignation ?

First asked then terminated as I said I won't be resigning.

Okay. But there will be nothing written in the document like termination ?
I think for getting the severance pay everything should be clear from your end as well like returning the asset. Or you may check with poc and get clearance when they will do full n final settlement.
