Need Advice

I am being offered a role in a company and they are asking for my payslip without giving me any estimation that they can offer. They told me that it will be decided after taking my payslip. Honestly, it seems weird to me. Would like to know your inputs in this.

Red flag, my advice would be to discuss your pay without payslip. Payslip, only to decide if you're lying or not

Yes, this is what I tried doing but they said they will first see my payslip and then decide how much to offer.

I would suggest being a bit stern with them and saying you are not comfortable sharing anything before they open up their cards a little bit at least
