Need advice

If I mention in my negotiation round that I have an offer letter from another company, will they ask me to show it? I actually have my friend’s offer letter, so I was thinking of using it during the negotiation. Is this a good idea? Any suggestions? Can I tell them If they ask me to show an offer letter or mail As it's confidential I can't show you.?
