Trending @Capgemini; Need advice : How to talk to My Manager About a Project Change

My current project is closing and my manager is assigning me to another project. However I don't want to continue working in this domain as it has very little demand and growth opportunities outside. I am even ready to be on bench but do not want to waste my time in this domain.

The challenge is that I don't have prior work experience in other domains, but I've been actively learning new technologies and want to explore opportunities in those areas. I'm unsure how to approach my manager about this. Has anyone been in a similar situation? Would love to hear your thoughts!

Your manager is also a human being... You can directly tell that you are looking for a change and don't want to join this project... Talk directly, there is no other way to convey it... You can explain your future plans... There is nothing wrong in it...

I too was in a similar situation. I talked to my manager about it and requested a release.
They might try to convince you to stay. But, stand your ground. Then, I don't think they will force you to stay if you're not interested.
