Need a little insight on how the hiring timeline works

I am currently working in Accenture and I have started with my switch preparation already. Got to hear that Aug and September are probably the only two months where I have a chance to get a job. Starting from October hiring will slow down or freeze. Now I’m stressed about whether I will be able to switch this year or not. But I have to anyhow.
