Navigating the Storm After Campus Placement

I got placed through campus in August 2023 as a Software Developer. Due to the recession, our college closed further placement opportunities, so I held onto that offer. After waiting nearly 1.25 years, I finally received online training that lasted until March 2025. I cleared the assessments and officially onboarded on March 24, 2025.

But just four months later—on July 22, 2025—I was laid off.

Now I’m struggling to find new opportunities. I don’t have much hands-on experience, and it’s affecting my confidence. I’m trying to stay consistent, but it’s hard to concentrate. The lack of responses and constant chase for referrals is exhausting.

If anyone has suggestions, guidance, or even just words of encouragement, I’d truly appreciate it. I’m open to internships or entry-level roles where I can learn and contribute.
