I am new joiner and waiting for the project allocation. So till that time which charge code I need to use in myte? If we are on bench and use non billable charge code then will it impact the variable pay amount? Please clarify.

Yes it will impact also the manager would be asking to fill project charge code from the day of joining the project.check with your manager directly about code which needs to be used when you are on bench
