Great. From what I understood leadership has told not to give 4* or give very less 4* rating. Even if someone is up for promotion then don't give promotion as well. Unless your favorite person of management / role is critical. That's why there are very few promotions this time around and too many 3* ratings. Also since mid last year PIP quota has been increased so they can indirectly do the layoffs and don't need to pay servance and keep the reputation as well. That's the same reason they're denying that Layoffs are happening even though Layoffs are taking places. There won't be any hiring for the rest of the year as well just like how we stopped the Hiring last during this time. If your rating is 3* the best case is 10% hike and depending upon criticality of your role they will compensate in the ESOP. Best case for 4* rating / promotion case is the same as only that hike will be 20-25% best hike being 30% in promotion cases. Lot of paper money. In case you are planning to move don't expect them to try to retain you as they want people to go

Hikes look different for design folks I guess, grapevine has ui/ux folks as well.

What was the average hike like? Also is it annually or bi-annually
