Gave exam for a secondary skill. I have achieved P3+ Expert eligible in that skill. Now I with my Team Lead in cc are getting mails to schedule Expert Assessment.
I don't want to give the expert assessment. This isn't my main skill. I was asked to do it and cleared objective assessment after multiple chances.
Whats the harm in giving exam . Becoming an expert resource opens you to differential treatment.
Faster promotion consideration , expert budget etc.
If you don't clear it that's ok. But may be try.
At least getting P4 in primary skill is much needed.
I recently made to SM that's 3 promotion in 6 Yrs. Would not have been possible without P4 in primary & secondary skill.
What to do if there is no chance to learn the skill in current project. It's not possible to know system design also. Will there by any resources to look? I saw learning path in mycompetency but that's not helping only.i tried p4 once.felt hard for me
