My younger brother just got his Class 10 results — 67.2%.
Honestly, we’re not disappointed. We’re grateful.
But I’ll admit — I’m a bit anxious about what comes next.
He has been very clear about one thing from the beginning:
He does NOT like Maths. He struggles with it and has no interest in pursuing it further. He wants to take Commerce without Maths.
And this is where my dilemma starts. On one hand, I don’t want to force him into something he dislikes and risk burnout or poor performance. On the other hand, somewhere deep down, I keep thinking — “Is Maths necessary to build a strong career? Will he miss out on opportunities?”
As an elder sibling, I just want him to: Build a solid career Get into a good (Tier 1) college for graduation Have options and not feel limited later in life
But I also don’t want my fear to dictate his path. So I’m reaching out to this community especially people who’ve been through similar situations:
👉 Is Commerce without Maths a limiting choice in today’s world?
👉 What are the best career paths he can explore without Maths?
👉 What should he focus on in the next 2 years to stay competitive?
If you’ve taken a non-Maths path and still done well — I’d genuinely love to hear your story.
Sometimes guidance from people who’ve walked the path matters more than any textbook advice. Thanks in advance 🙏

Commerce also has mathematical in terms of balance sheet calculations.. u cnt run away

If he's not going to be a nerd he can become fit with gymrat and start vlogging channel on YouTube
