My wife is pregnant and i have dr certificate with complications, so can i ask for WFH?

You can ask anything, but... My friend! It totally depends on your manager, if he/she approves. He/She can approve your WFH for any reason if he/she wants.

You can and you should. Provide all the medical documentation via mail even if they dont ask for it. If they deny, loop all the hr in that mail. Play logically and legally. They have to accept it. If you dont want to fight for what is right or what u deserve then every time management will be winning.
If you have leaves then i will suggest to take leaves instead of wfh.

Yes u can do … only wfo index will be affected
. Nthng else .. talk to ur manager and settle this.. I am doing wfh with exception.. go abead

As per HR policy, you can apply for Work From Home (WFH) only for one month after your baby’s delivery. They might not respond to your email initially, so make sure to follow up regularly via mail. If there’s no response, consider adding the Head of HR in your follow-up emails.

Hi @TriangularVintner . My baby is about a month old now. I have requested WFH for one month. Initially everything went well. During the delivery time the HR replied to my email stating that WFH cannot be given instead apply your leaves for such occasions. Which was actually rude and not tolerable. I had to return to office in a week after my baby’s delivery. It all depends with HR and DP.

Yes, get your request approved by your manager first and then share it with hr attaching all medical document and certificate, they will validate it with TCS dr, once TCS dr approves then hr will approve your request… its long process but it is possible.. i took it like this only…

Hey , you can provide a medical certificate and tell them you are alone in home to take care of them as there is no one else. And HR will show it to TCS doctors and give WFH. As my father was sick , I have taken WFH for last 2 and half months

You can get for few weeks if you provide the project team and HR with documents.

I don't think you can opt for WFH until child birth, as per the policy ,Males associates can opt for WFH until child turns 1 year old,but Female associates can opt for WFH from the time of conceptio until child turns 1 year anytime upto max of 6 months
