I would like to share one concept explained in the book "The psychology of money". It's about how two people born about a decade apart from each other, on reaching the earning stage and starting to invest, can have largely different returns just because of their position with respect to the cycles.

Keep learning, you will get there.

I’d suggest not to invest in direct equities unless you gain enough financial knowledge. Better to start with index or other direct mutual funds until you feel confident in equity market.

You have mostly commodity and cyclical stocks with no moat. I am afraid, some of them won't ever come in green

First of all, don’t let your portfolio decline too much set a threshold. I trade actively in the market and for me that threshold is 7%. If my portfolio ever reaches -7% in a year I execute a one click exit. I don’t care if the market rebounds by 5% the next day. I am fine with not making money but I am not fine with losing my capital beyond 7% in a year.

If I exit, I take my time to rebuild my positions after assessing. With basic chart reading skills you can save yourself both financial and mental pain.

Patience is the key. You have a strong portfolio. The problem is u bought these shares when they were at all time high... Ull have to stay put if u have the capacity to bear loss.
