Hope you have opted for parental insurance . In that case there are two options

1. Choose a suitable network hospital, check in medical insurance provider portal (I think it is Vidal). The Dot->myApps->Total Reward
   Intimate for cashless admission in hospital to Vidal
2. If not a network hospital, then still u can get the operation done from the hospital which u have choosen Collect all bills and claim for reimbursement in portal under hospitalization category.

Hope you have opted for parental insurance. Download your mother health card from Vidal portal and go cashless by choosing the valid network hospital. It's better to choose cashless than reimbursement as It will be hassle free. If you choose non network hospitals, it will be a long process to reimburse the amount and 80% will be reimbursed. But with cashless, copay will be 10%
