My Mother is ill and she requires help for her daily medicine intake . Do HR approve an exception on Personal Exigency for Dependent ?

If it's long term ,they ask to go for long term leave without pay

In flexible work option there is option for elderly care under that you can avail after discussing the policy with hr and getting approval

I don't think they will give WFH option

I do understand but money is also needed .please do suggest is there any way to get it long term ??

I will be very honest with you. If your manager approves, it's possible as they can talk to HR and give you WFO relief.

One of my colleague did WFH for 3 months straight and then Project had to let her go for some other reason.

It's mostly tough for support related Projects (24*7) but it's very possible @LiveSnorer9

Provide documentation TCS as policy for short term and long term elderly dependent care.

You can raise wfo exception under elderly care with relevant documents

upto 6 days in a quarter

Reach out to your HR with necessary medical docs. HR will approve if the case is genuine

If we are unwell, max they give 2 weeks with doctor advise
