My manager slapped me at the TCS office. What should I do?
Last week, I came late to work and was completely drenched because it rained. We had a meeting early in the morning that I tried to take from my phone but I was not audible properly throughout. The client did not want to reschedule. I must say that I am pretty tall and healthy. I go to the gym and can bench press 20kgx12x3. I was working on my desk and she slapped me on my head. Obviously it hurt and I shouted in anger. She then shouted at me for being late to work. I complained to her manager about this behaviour. She said that she was just joking and didn't hit me at all. I asked to check the CCTVs but there is no bloody coverage. Why is it that she can get away with treating me like this? Is this because I am a guy? I am scared to create more fuss because I really need this job. Help me please.

You can raise a POSCH incident / Inform your HR regarding this behaviour. This type of behaviour should not be tolerated
Thank God you didnt raised your hand on that woman(Manager) .. One should never raise hands on a woman... Take this thing to HR and and POSH complain. If u would have even touched her na it would have created a mess for u..Think about your future as well before momentarily doing anything..

The amount of useless and unnecessary information in this post. Oh my god. You are just posting this for sake of posting it. 🙄🙄

She did what!?
How do people have audacity to behave this way!?
I hope you have reported this to HR. If not, please do it. Don't try take matters into your hand. Situation might end up being worse. Take it through HR, and if you don't receive any response, keep adding and copying the email to supervisors. Also, don't let it go. Please report this behaviour.

Shouldv slapped the shit out of the bitch. If any grubby TCS manager even lays a finger on me il send em to the hospital..career be damned.

Toxic culture at its best. It's better for you to look and explore other jobs. If you still want to stay and want justice, that's really tough but you can raise an employee grievance but unsure how that will turn out helpful to you.

Talk to her. Tell her you were offended & this was inappropriate. It may be a mistake & it was the first time. Though this behaviour is not tolerable and should not be repeated with you or anyone else. So tell her what you plan to do & see her response. If she apologizes either let it go with a warning or you can still proceed with the action. Suggest you talk to local ethics counselor (keep everything formal - mails etc. and keep record). If you think her behaviour or action qualifies for POSH, do report it.
