Trending @Accenture; My manager slapped me at the Accenture office. What should I do?
Last week, I came late to work and was completely drenched because it rained. We had a meeting early in the morning that I tried to take from my phone but I was not audible properly throughout. The client did not want to reschedule. I must say that I am pretty tall and healthy. I go to the gym and can bench press 20kgx12x3. I was working on my desk and she slapped me on my head. Obviously it hurt and I shouted in anger. She then shouted at me for being late to work. I complained to her manager about this behaviour. She said that she was just joking and didn't hit me at all. I asked to check the CCTVs but there is no bloody coverage. Why is it that she can get away with treating me like this? Is this because I am a guy? I am scared to create more fuss because I really need this job. Help me please.
If u feel ur manager is not well behaved with you all the time then u can raise POSH case
If this incident is just for fun then you should talk to that person and inform please dont repeat anymore
You can raise this incident on conduct count
Raise a complaint to POSH and complaint to your HR as well. Doesn't matter if you are a guy or girl, never tolerate bad behaviour,be it verbal or physical. Accenture has plenty of programs regarding work behaviours. You never mistreat anyone, never let anyone mistreat you.
Woah, its been 9 months in this company, i joind as a fresher, i never heard of such incident... this iss soo not good at all, you should definitely take this further...and let her learn a lesson out of it... but make sure tk switch or to change project after this... because afterall, she is your F boss...🥲
