My manager is gosting me
Hi I had some arguments regarding hike and return to office policy with my manager. It was not that serious but little argument. After that he is gosting me not replying to my messages in teams or whatsapp. Any idea how to deal with this ?
What have you been messaging him? Considering the recent disagreement, do not stop at hi, hello etc and expect a response. State your concern or purpose for reaching out clearly, along with the support you need from him. If he doesn't respond even after seeing your teams message, ping a second time as a reminder. If that doesn't work, ping in a common group. If that too doesn't work, drop a mail.
I have asking him about the things he promised months back. Regarding on-site and hikes. Same thing I am pinging about any updates on his words but yaa he is not even seeing messages
Whatever you are asking it should be on official mail or teams . Do not use WhatsApp or calls to communicate better with mails and ask him his response 3 times in two weeks span of no revert loop his manager in cc and ask him to revert stating you have been trying to reach out over mails and teams but no response . Limit discussions in polite manner and see
Drop a mail ... And schedule meetings.. of manager does not appear on the meeting reschedule it stating hos absence .. continue with the process so that you have a log of the state you are saying.. then after getting the band raise dissatisfaction.. you will have HR and manager in the call.. do not forget to mention and showcase that log of meetings... In case he is appearing in the meeting drop a MOM.
