My interview experience with WTA(Women's Tennis Association)

I recently had a very bad inyerview experience with WTA or Women's Tennis Association for a Data Architect role. The company doesn't recruit IT folks in India directly and does it through CI Group USA which is a recruitment agency. The role involves remote work with EST shift. Their budget for Data Architect role is less than what Data engineers with 5/6 years of experience are demanding.

I had 2 rounds of technical interviews with them in April. The last one being on April 16. Since then I've been following up with them without much success.

I thought being an elite organization I can expect some professionalism from them when it comes to recruitment but they also turned out to be just like typical service based companies.

To understand more I digged into CI group's profile and found interesting facts. It's being run by a couple who are already well positioned in WTA and also running a recruitment agency. Both of them are Indians.

Think twice before you give interview to them. They are a bunch of unprofessional a** holes who are simply trying to feed off the salary paid by WTA to contractors.

They don't have a budget as such. They didn't even want to negotiate for 35 lacs for Data Architect role.
