My girlfriend wants me to come to Germany 🇩🇪

I am interviewing at Tesla Germany and my girlfriend is studying at University of Freiburg. She is now forcing me to come to Germany. What should I do? I think India will become the greatest country in the world and I want to stay here for growth but she is saying that life here is sad. Germany is much better according to her where she goes clubbing in Berlin and often travels between Germany, France, Italy and Netherlands whenever it is her semester break.

People might say India is a third world country but the facility and the comfort you have here can’t be seen anywhere else. In Germany you still have to carry cash and there are stores that won’t accept electronic mode of payment. This is just one of the most basic things that we overlook. There isn’t any food delivery or grocery delivery services, you’ll have to leave all this comfort behind

Go to Germany for a few years then come back. You'll get better packages hopefully.

I think this is what most of us end up missing in the large scheme of things.. everyone just sees one aspect.. growth, growth & growth in India.

Yes there is growth and it will continue to grow for about 10-20 yrs more till the youth and upcoming youth becomes lazy and hardly skilled and feels making reels and all is real life and one needn't work.

Yes there is growth without a doubt due to the population we have.. you can literally sell or provide any service in this country buy imp question is at what cost.

Has anyone bothered to measure the burden our population is placing on resources. Has one ever tried seeing the struggles we have in our country basic requirements & fulfillment.

Yes germany is old school and outdated in lot of things however given a chance I'll swiftly move there for atleast good 10-20 yrs of life to enjoy better air, water and facilities and come to India with good enough money to retire in peace in a hill station or around beach rather than die a slow death in any metro loaded with all sorts of pollution.

I know, I may receive some flak for my post but this is my preference. Writing this post from the highly polluted air chambers of Delhi/NCR.

How about weather, pollution, traffic and power outages in the major cities of India. These are necessities. Online payments is comfort. I never wanted to leave India but every time I face these issues and then pay a lot of taxes, I get so frustrated.

The question is what do you want? Long term, short term goals of being in the said country? Discuss that.
Lifestyle, cost of living, savings, next 5 years plans, keep all these in mind and take your decision.
Do not move unless YOU want to.

Germany. I have friends and they love it. Very different from American culture.
