My friend has a gap of 4 years after graduation. Can he continue in any IT company now?

My friend was preparing for govt exams but now he wants to continue earning in the IT field can he join ? And if yes how can he do that which company accepts him?

Any thoughts/comments will be really helpful.

Yes, most product based companies won’t care about these things. But he needs one break in somehow. May be ask him to do MBA and then get in the role of BA, PO etc
