🚨 My Experience with NoBroker – Felt Cheated! 🚨

I usually don’t post such things, but I felt it’s important to share this so others don’t fall into the same trap.

I was recently looking to buy a flat on the outskirts of Bangalore and explored options through NoBroker. Their marketing team convinced me to take a Premium Plan, promising dedicated support from a Relationship Manager (RM), help with shortlisting, negotiation, and end-to-end assistance.

After paying, the RM (Pallavi) shared a few properties, none of which were suitable. Eventually, I myself found a flat on NoBroker that I genuinely liked. I informed the RM and asked for help with negotiation since the owner spoke only Hindi and I’m not fluent.

Here’s where the real issue started:

I was told the owner is not willing to negotiate. They offered to assign a “negotiation expert” for an extra ₹10,000, which I agreed to, hoping for some professional support. The negotiator (Arjun) just echoed the same – “owner won’t budge.” But later, I directly spoke to the owner, and shockingly found out: 👉 NoBroker had convinced him to take a ₹1.5 lakh premium plan, promising him they’d bring buyers who will pay more – ₹2–3 lakhs extra!

So, instead of helping me as their client, they used my interest to close a deal on the owner’s behalf, even though I was the one paying for their service.

I felt completely betrayed and used. This is not how professional real estate services should work. I paid for help, but what I got was a clear conflict of interest, manipulation, and zero real value.

💔 Extremely disappointed with NoBroker and the way they operate. If you're planning to use their services, please be careful and do your own due diligence.

I hope this post helps others make informed decisions.

I'm absolutely sorry for your experience, but this is epic funny and the PM who thought of this use case is legend

I had used its services in past . They try to hype the prices is what i felt for benefit of the owners . Same rant everytime "Owner is not ready for negotiations"

The local caretaker of the flat told me that if you would have directly reached out to me i would have not only reduced the rent but being a bachelor would not be a problem for him because owner was a NRI who rarely visited .

This same scene happened multiple times .

Also even after a month of using premium , NOBROKER was unable to find a suitable flat, suitable locations at reasonable price .

I took matter in my hands and in just 3-4 days i was able to find a better match .

They are big time cheats and the company does not know how to operate.

Nobroker is complete shit, it is also a reason for the up surge in rent prices. Even I had a bad experience with them.

For negotiation I would suggest search within your close friends and family there will be definitely some ppl who are very gd with it and take help from them

A quick Google search reveals many such cases regarding Nobroker. I had used their services in 2022, and had the same experience. Also, if one rents a "Nobroker managed property", one has to forgo a significant chunk of security deposit due to Nobroker's greed. My landlord was willing to deduct only the painting charge which was much less than the monthly rent, however Nobroker insisted on deducting the entire rent.

lol if you think no broker is bad then you never tried a real estate broker. NoBroker is 10th med better. The actual brokers who sit in the rental offices of residential communities are ruthless. Firstly they behave like people who come for rent are poor and they show attitude to us. They give full importance to owners and then take as much money they can from us. They articulacy raise prices every 11 months by 20-30%. It’s a total scam. This is my experience in Hyderabad. In Bangalore I did not have this kind of experience. I always have a pleasant stay on Bangalore compared to hyd.
