My experience with Coding ninjas MERN Stack Course

🚨 Coding Ninjas Placements Scam– A Cautionary Tale 🚨

In January 2023, I enrolled in a 9-month Bootcamp MERN Stack Development course with Coding Ninjas, investing ₹1.5 lakh (with education loan interest). I completed the course on time, but my experience has been nothing short of disappointing due to false promises and poor support. Here’s a breakdown of my journey:

Issues with the Course Content 1ļøāƒ£ The course content wasn’t worth ₹1.5 lakh: – especially the Node.js and JavaScript lectures, which were outdated at the time when I joined. 2ļøāƒ£ Modules were excessively lengthy, making it difficult to complete them within the stipulated 9 months.

False Promises During Admission: Coding Ninjas counselor Richard Daniel made promises that turned out to be deceptive: 1ļøāƒ£ Placement Support:– They claimed I’d get placement support after completing 3 skill tags (DSA, Frontend, React.js). Since January 2024, I’ve applied to 720+ companies through their portal, yet I rarely receive updates. Most replies are excuses like ā€œprocess closedā€ or ā€œno update from the hiring team.ā€ 2ļøāƒ£ Minimum 8 LPA Job Promise:– They assured an 8 LPA fresher job post-course. However, most opportunities in their portal offer 3-4 LPA, not the promised 8 LPA. 3ļøāƒ£ Product-Based Companies’ Placements:– They marketed the course as a pathway to top product-based companies. The reality? No substantial internship or fresher job support. 4ļøāƒ£ Refund Guarantee:– I signed an agreement stating I’d get a refund if not placed within 21 months. Now that I’m eligible for a refund, they’ve stopped answering my calls and are making endless excuses.

Impact on My Life: I even quit my job to focus on this course, trusting their promises. It turned out to be a terrible decision, wasting my time, money, and effort. I feel trapped by their fraudulent practices.

Advice to Others: For those considering this program, especially if you come from a non-tech background like me, proceed with caution. There are free, high-quality resources on YouTube like Akshay Saini šŸš€ that provide more value I watched his Namaste JavaScript series for interview preparation.

Call to Action: As per the agreement, I’m eligible for a refund and demanding accountability from Coding Ninjas. To my fellow batchmates facing similar issues, I encourage you to share your experiences in the comments. Let’s make our voices heard and hold them accountable for their promises. It feels like a marketing company instead of an edtech.

Reality of neoG bootcamp

The camp in my opinion is not what it claims to be. People who are doing well in the camp are the ones who took matters in their own hand and started learning on their own.

Scaler lays off 20-25% of their workforce

Edtech layoffs still continuing?

Teams were asked to strictly work from home for today because of plumbing work going on in the office. Roughly 300 people were laid off in a townhall hosted by the founders.

How will they tell people that their courses will help get a job in a product company now?
