My Experience with Bosscoder Academy

I previously worked mainly with SQL and found it difficult to transition into a broader Data Analytics role despite spending 4.5 years in the same company. While exploring ways to strengthen my analytics skill set, I came across Bosscoder Academy. The curriculum focused on practical analytics concepts and projects, which aligned with what I was looking for to move into a data analyst position.

Through the program, I expanded my understanding of the analytics workflow beyond SQL, especially in areas like data visualization using Tableau and analytical thinking around product and data metrics. The sessions helped connect technical concepts with real-world data analysis scenarios, which made it easier to understand how analytics is applied in business contexts.

After completing the program and working on projects, I was able to approach interviews with stronger confidence in SQL and Tableau, which were key areas evaluated during my technical rounds. I have now transitioned into a Senior Data Analyst role at Omnicom Media Group, and the learning experience played a role in helping me prepare for the expectations of an analytics position.
