My experience Taking the Data Engineering course from Bosscoder Academy
I was working at a Big 4 company for about 4.6 years and wanted to switch, but I realized that while I had some hands-on experience, my fundamentals and structured understanding of data engineering weren’t strong enough to confidently crack product-based or Big 4 interviews. That’s when I joined Bosscoder Academy’s Data Engineering program, and honestly, it helped me make that jump – I eventually switched to KPMG India as a Data Engineer.
Here’s what stood out for me:
-
Structured Learning Path Instead of scattered tutorials, the course gives you a very systematic roadmap – starting from SQL, Python, and data modeling basics, then moving into big data frameworks (Spark, Hadoop, Hive), orchestration tools like Airflow, and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP). They also put a lot of emphasis on designing data pipelines end-to-end, which is something you don’t always get from free resources.
-
Hands-on Projects Every module is tied to projects. For example, building ETL pipelines, working with batch + streaming data, integrating Spark with cloud storage, etc. These projects weren’t toy examples – they resembled real-world use cases, which made it easier for me to talk about them in interviews.
-
Mentorship & Doubt Solving This was a big plus for me. The mentors are working professionals, so whenever I got stuck, they didn’t just spoon-feed solutions – they explained trade-offs and industry practices. Doubt-solving sessions were consistent, and it helped me stay on track.
-
Placement Prep & Mock Interviews They do provide placement support, but what really helped was the mock interviews. Getting feedback on how I explained my projects and solved problems gave me a lot of confidence for actual interviews.
Outcome: After completing the course, I was much more confident in both my problem-solving and system design for data pipelines. That preparation is what helped me crack multiple interviews and switch to KPMG India.

So are you promoting that course here?
