My dad diagnosed with cancer. Treatment is very expensive. Insurance claim got declined. Taking up a loan. Need suggestions for side hustle.
My skills set - Product management, UI/UX, learning Data science. I have experience in running a cloud kitchen along with my uncle previously but tbh it’s not profitable in today’s scenario. My friend is into importing stuff and suggesting me to look into it but can’t invest such huge amount rn.
It would be helpful if you can detailed out suggestions. For example, I know I can list my portfolio on fiver/Upwork but I heard they are crowded and it takes years to build credibility.
I have friends who trust me, they are happy to loan some amount if I find some good franchise option.

Hi, it's good that you're looking for side hustle. Was in a similar situation a few months back. We needed a huge amount in a cery short duration and corporate insurance, although huge, wasn't even 10% of what the costs were coming out to be.
So I started a fundraiser and we got some money from there. Also, check insurance clause as to why it was refused since most of them really needed to be opposed. For freelance, if you have a portfolio then it's great to showcase it on linkedin. You can cold email startup founders too. They usually like freelance people since there's a tonne to be done and they don't have to provide benefits of full time.

Why was the insurance declined? AKAIK insurance regulatory body has some rules around it. Try to reach out to ditto - those guys are helpful or else file a case with the regulatory body. They'll resolve it ASAP.
All the best @Mirch 🙏🏻
