My coworker from my previous company keeps calling me for some work that he cannot understand from the KT.

Please help me write a message to make him understand that I can't be helping him anymore as I am not part of the company.

I know this sounds a bit weird and it should be obvious to the coworker but he just doesn't seem to understand.

Don't be so hard and fast. If you had come out in good terms, use this opportunity to build a relationship with the former boss. It will come handy.

If you had come out in bad terms, stop replying to him.

Don't invite trouble by being so good. Even if your coworker is your best friend, its not good to continue work related discussion when you are not associated with it anymore. That too when the separation is on the grounds of PIP.

Just say that it's not ethical for you to comment on anything related to that company's work now. Hence you are ok to continue your conversations as a friend but not as an ex-colleague.

Kaam bohot hai. Busy hu. Pip pe daalne se pahle kyo nahi socha. KT me bataya hai wapas se dekh lo. Dnd.

Yeh sab puchne ka kya hi banta hai idhar.
