My company is taking advantage of the current hiring scene

I’ve observed that there is no empathy anymore. People are being asked to do double the amount of work in my org. I think they are taking advantage of the current market and just being cocky. I’m also listening this from my friends in other companies. Did you observe something similar ?

Not in my company, I guess some organisations are toxic inherently. In fact, hiring situation should see an upturn due to the annual resignation cycle, so I am not sure it is really a time of employers having an upper hand.
