My company holding exit letter until I sign an NDA
I have served notice period of 2 months, finished all the handover process. Its been over 20 days they are refusing to give exit letter until I sign an NDA, which has non compete clause. They are also holding my last month salary. I have sent them formal mails requesting the same but they are insisting that I should sign the NDA.
Not getting completely out of company is giving me quite a lot of anxiety. How to deal with situation like this?
employees have no option but to play by their rules. If we need the exit letter, then we have no option.
The one option we have is to be sarcastic. When signing the NDA, tell them "i don't know what skill i gained, that you feel the competitor might benefit. In fact when people from our company join the competitor, you should happy, they would be ruined quickly".
