No consequences,just sharing my personal experience, for my previous project i used to work on mac,don't know how one day it's entire mother board got damaged.when I have informed the same to my higher hierarchy they have asked me to raise a complaint to get the part replaced instead of laptop replacement.the part replacement took like around 8 days,my client was too good,that 8 days were like an unofficial vacation
