It doesn't matter if you invest at NFO or later. You are always going to get units according to nav. Nav can fall after NFO as well if markets fall

Absolutely wrong! Most advisors sell NFo because they get high commission on that. NFOs are riskier than already active funds because you don’t even know the track record of the fund manager.
