Music app subscription suggestions 🎵🎶🎧
I currently have a Spotify Premium subscription, but it expires tomorrow. A month ago, I subscribed to YouTube Music Premium and found it to be a better fit for my needs. It offers superior sound quality, a wider selection of songs, and more features. However, Spotify has a stronger podcast library.
I'm torn between the two and would like your input. Please vote in this poll to help me decide which music app you believe is superior.

I am using spotify premium since 5 yrs. But i am thinking to switch to YT. But what abt my liked songs and preferences? Dont you guys think there should be a feature to migrate all your liked songs???????????

I am using Spotify since 2016(was using mod version till 2019 then it got officially released in India). I listen to music 4-5 hrs a day and spotify gives the best experience, be it like features like blend, sound capsule(it gives you the analysis of each month) it keeps you connected to the app and make you more interested. It also tells a lot about artists and there upcoming concerts. The way it switch from phone to my laptop speakers on spotify app or you can switch to a speaker is amazing. My favourite feature is jam where it let’s multiple people play the songs in a group.
Youtube music has the best recommendation system. Just play one song and you won’t be bothered to change the song because it will play really good recommended songs. Spotify doesn’t have that good recommendation system.
I tried apple music too but didn’t like much. Song quality is really good but failed in other aspects.

- Intuitive UI
- Jamming feature
- Play from any device with same account, like you have connected speaker with mobile and mobile is not near you you can switch the songs from laptop or other devices
- Album or song announcement feature
- Songs can be downloaded in different quality
- Huge amount of playlists
- Playlist songs ends no worries, Spotify recommendation will keep on going
- Spotify own created music playlist is very good like rainy, mood, gym etc.
- Your year end report of music you listen too
- Good connection to android auto or apple play
- Equaliser is decent
I have Amazon prime membership, so I use Amazon music app
The music and podcast library of Amazon music is very limited compared to the above two, is what I feel
