- All road concretisation work must be completed by May 31, as per the directives issued by civic commissioner Bhushan Gagrani.
- The decision follows numerous complaints from citizens about freshly built roads being repeatedly dug up.
- The BMC has issued work orders for cement concretisation of 324 km in the island city and 377 km in the suburbs.
- The aim is to complete 75% of the concretisation work in the first phase to avoid inconvenience to citizens.
