Much needed thoughts - Please help

As per by above post I have left a startup in 6 months without any job offer in hand due to toxicity and micromanaging by the direct manager. It’s been two months now i have been actively looking for the job but not able to convert it.

Some companies are not able to understand the actual reason and found it negative and if I say layoff then there is no salary negotiations.

Before this startup I was working with a media company as APM where the growth is stagnant and not as on other product based companies. I worked there for almost 1.5 years.

Now I have an option of going back there but the seniors are saying to avoid media shell If I can.

I am in a huge dilemma that should I wait more for the right opportunity or join back that organisation.

Really need the inputs of the people from this industry.

Also i have 3 years of exp in product as APM and I am looking for APM/PM role as an immediate joiner🥲
