Trending @Capgemini; Much needed break

I recently resigned and planning to take a break from work for atleast 6months. All these days I have been through a lot, constant calls, learning, managing tasks, crying, humiliations and after all these I resigned at a point to search job. But even in notice period I'm constantly working doing over time, facing humiliations. So now I think I should take a break from work after my notice period.

I would advise you to start searching after a month’s break, basically, start searching before you start to feel overwhelmed by the need to search for a job. I had taken a month long break without starting my search for a new job, then started to prepare and by the time I started to apply it was around 1.5 months, towards the end of it felt little rushed/anxious to get back and eventually re-joined after a 2 month break. Those last few days were stressful, so I wouldn’t recommend waiting too long. If you feel better after a month, start looking.
