Moving within project

I am allocated to a project since last 10 days and they have allocated me a module which i have never worked on. Can i ask my manager to move me to module which have I have worked before within project?

Not a good move, learn new things could be fine, initial stage it’s not recommended to ask manager. It might reflect or affect in your later stages
