Senior technologist is an STG role.As per information I have not official you become Senior Technologist(ST) after 8 years experience.Before moving to ST there will be a role specialist programmer L3 whose salary will be approx 23 LPA.So ST L1 salary should be more than 23 .Not sure of exact numbers but they will make sure that all people with same experience and same level are paid nearly same.
