Moving from Senior Business Analyst to Sales profile

Hi All,

Lately i have realised that if i want to grow up in any org, i have to be part of sales.

Also with my exp. my ctc is not at par with the market so want to have market correction on that as well.

My interest towards sales have also started inside me, as during start of my career i have done hard core sales(not it or saas slaes).

1. Now i wanted to know being a senior ba would it be wise to move to sales profile.
2. What about the compensation in sales.
3. Will i be able to stand with the sales standard.

As a BA i know how to engage with client, gather requirements, provide solution and demos also.
