Don't move.
I know one guy moved from apple to my org. Now he is regretting everyday.

What if that product based company is a startup

Not well established

Bro please don't, speaking from my own personal experience.. I regret joining infosys(Infy is good but not for product based experienced developers) , I was noob when switching.. now after 3 years I finally got into a good bank.. but still I think I wanted my 2 years in Infy ..

wasted my 2 years in Infy...

Why are u thinking u wasted your time in Infy? Asking for me 😅😅

Same here moved from product to service now all learnings gone no quality work no respect for your contribution in terms of reward.

There is no quality work in my startup also

Then you can wait and go to better product based company but won’t suggest service based as per experience . Its hard to go from service to product based company

Product base company is good in comparison to service based. So don’t move to service based. Otherwise you will regret. Try to apply in more better product base.

What's your reason to move ?

Not valued in my current company. Too much work pressure. Have to work on Sunday. Mgmt asking scalable product without giving time. Almost nil benefits insurance is copay. Small company no big office feeling less motivated

Move to pbc only else will get trapped bcoz of 3 moths np

Go where you feel respected. I have seen people in big organization product companies, where they are getting ignored, unheard. Do not compare yourselves with other bro.

Knowing the company names will help in answering and suggesting anything.

Don't move.....

I worked my ass off in Wipro and gave 5yrs of my life in exchange for peanuts .. but I learnt a lot in those days and honestly after switching from Wipro to other company I was equipped with enough skill to seamlessly transition to higher roles and got 100% hike on 3 yrs.
I then moved into cloud company (product) and my skill were obsolete but my knowledge helped me learn and grow to a point where I am looking for a new role.
Here comes the AI Revolution and the whole world is upside down.. need new skills , new knowledge and new perspectives.
Job security is a myth regardless of product or service based companies.
WLB can only be achieved if you’re in a non-client facing role and if the infrastructure is stable (again myth)

^100% hike each year^

Jao bindass vo bhi koi achi product company denge...my sister is in service company and working on good products
service company is like broker and nothing else
hike achi lo and save more market gandi halat me hai

Worst move of your life from product to service
