Moving from dot net development to data science role

Hi All,

I need a career advice on how can I plan my switch from dot net developer to a data scientist. Please guide me, where to start. Shall I apply for a classroom course or online course and what will happen after course completion? Will I be able to land a job with no experience in the field? I really want to understand if this is feasible or not
