Moving from BLR to MUM

I got an offer from a firm - good job, decent hike. Contemplating wether making a move is worth it, day 1 of me reaching and it’s flooded already! Should I move back ?

No. Decades back I was in the same boat. Thought of quitting 7 days into the job. Terrible rains, crazy rent, horrible traffic and no balconies in the city.

Now that i look back thank God I didn't. The people are wonderful, the auto drivers are 100X better than what Bangalore has, the city infrastructure and commute has definitely improved in the last decade, and workwise there's no better place to be if you are in bfsi.

Hang in there.

Yep working in the BFSI space - lately felt a bit stagnated here in BLR

Bangalore is nothing compared to Mumbai. Stick through and you'll love your life by December.

Which domain are you working in? If it not IT then stick to Mumbai

If you're in BFSI, stay put mate. Flooding will happen for 5 days in a year...The remaining 360 will give you enough reasons to stay put. Wish you all the best !
