Moving away from VMware after 500% increase by these idiots

So, let me tell you about this crazy thing that happened at my company. We were using VMware for our cloud stuff, but then they raised their prices by 500 percent! The CTO nearly pissed his pants lol.

He was like, "Bkc this is too much!" So, we had a big meeting with the CEO to figure out what to do. Everyone was frustrated, and he was like, "We can't afford this. We need a change."

That's when we decided to switch to an open-source alternative. It was a bit scary at first because we didn't know if it would work as well as VMware. But guess what? We got the same features without the insane cost. Plus, the community support is amazing. Everyone's sharing tips and tricks, and it's way more flexible for our needs.

So, if any of you are dealing with crazy price hikes, don't be afraid to explore open-source options. It might just save your budget and your sanity.

fyi: it's called proxmox.
