Moving abroad ..
I’ve recently got an alliance from someone who’s currently working in Amsterdam, Netherlands. While I appreciate this opportunity on a personal level, I’ve also been thinking deeply about my own career path. I’m currently working in a small startup with around 2 years of experience in a BPM tool. This was my first job, and while it gave me some experience, I’ve realized over time that I’m not really interested in continuing in development or this particular domain long-term."
To be honest, I’ve started to lose interest in the technical development side, and I’m unsure about the future of the tool I’m working on. That’s made me consider a career change — ideally into something like software testing, QA, or even non-technical roles such as documentation, coordination, or support
If I were to move to the Netherlands, I want to be able to stand on my own feet — I don’t want to be dependent on the person I’m getting engaged to. It’s important for me to have my own identity and be financially independent. I’m exploring ways to upskill myself now and understand what options I’d realistically have if I plan to work there.( what are the chances do I find to get the job there is that even possible ?)
