Does the salary increase if movement from BPO 3 to IT?

If you move to IT from BPO, ensure they will change your payroll to IT. Otherwise they will keep you in BPO payroll, give BPO hike, and get IT work done by you.

Does that kind of move really happen? My friend did IT work but never got IT tagged. His project could not send him onsite because they could not get him IT tagged. Later he quit.

Let me help with that Yes From BPO3 u will get converted to C1 Without any changes in your salary package(which is a very bad move)
I made this mistake 4years before

Nope This is trap don’t get into it If they are promising you for C2 with salary structure change Then think about it

Even i requested movement to IT grade few days back. From BPO3 and having 9 year 10 month exp. Expecting they will give C2. And then after conversation, my manager can send fwd my promotion. And then maybe i can have C3A grade. Any suggestion/guidance on this please

Unfortunately No, as per my knowledge still you will consider as BPO3 over there.

Even I'm not sure. However few colleagues informed that changes may give some hikes as per IT payroll.

After getting the release date to RMG then after how many days I will be deallocated from the project.

It depends, RMG arranges the new project interview and until you are selected for the new project. No limit for deallocation.

I am one of them. Moved from BPO4 to C2 before COVID. Salary increment was only the transport charge that is free in BPO but chargeable in IT. ₹1800 per month. But work wise IT was better than BPO. BPO has to be 9 hours work everyday but in IT it is different and more relaxed comparatively (depending on project and work assigned in IT). Got a promotion to C3A 15% increase which was not happening in BPO though. So it worked for me.
