Move from IT to Retail

Hello all,

I’m looking for some expert advice. I have 5 years of experience in IT as a Software Developer and Program Manager.

I’ve also managed my family business end-to-end, though I’m unsure if that’s worth highlighting.

I completed my MBA from IIM in Marketing and Operations and am planning to switch from IT to Retail. Despite applying to several roles, I’m facing rejections.

Any guidance on how to move forward would be truly appreciated.

  4. I love retail (topper in retail marketing)
  5. First hand experience of more than a decade in family business - know in and out of how to run a single shop.
  6. can leverage my knowledge which may have become a gut feeling by backing up it with a data driven approach of large organizations.
  7. I believe I can contribute thrice as much in retail than in IT.
